Manchester United’s Benjamin Sesko has been voted the worst signing of the summer transfer window by football agents.

United recruited Sesko from German side RB Leipzig in a deal worth £74m in August despite Ruben Amorim reportedly wanting Ollie Watkins instead.

Sesko failed to score across his opening six games for the Red Devils in all competitions, which saw the 22-year-old receive widespread criticism.

The Slovenia international striker is finally starting to find some form, though, scoring twice in United’s last two Premier League matches.

Despite appearing to turn things around, The Athletic’s agent survey has still voted Sesko as the worst signing of the summer transfer window.
