1WHITE OAK, PA — A shooting incident in White Oak has resulted in the death of a local man. The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has launched an investigation into the event.

At 2:18 p.m. on Thursday, County 9-1-1 received reports of a shooting at the intersection of Jacks Run Road and Lincoln Way. First responders located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Law enforcement officials are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
