The city of Aspen is preparing for an organization-wide overhaul of systems and policies to recruit and retain more employees and improve customer service efforts.

The project, called WorkWays, will take an in-depth look at the city’s internal hiring policies, hybrid work systems and department-specific policies. The city is looking to make a “transformational change” in how it serves the community.
