AMESBURY, Mass. —

You could say that here in New England, people love things that are old, and there seems to be an extra special appreciation for old things that are repurposed and used for something new.

That is just the case for a Massachusetts company that specializes in barn doors.

“I make rustic and semirustic, and other barn doors mostly for interior spaces, and all the hardware. And then I install it," said Jeff Filipov, owner of Northshore Barn Doors in Amesbury.

On any given day, inside an old brick building located in a North Shore town, you will find Filipov hard at work creating customized one-of-a-kind barn doors.
