(WHTM)-- Medical bills can be a financial burden for many people, and the different charges can be difficult to navigate.

Medical bills can have inaccuracies, but there are ways for consumers to protect their wallets.

After his five-year-old had to go to the emergency room, James Easling was inundated with medical bills.
