LIHUE — All the credit unions on Kauai will be celebrating Thursday, which is recognized as International Credit Union Day.
The week of Oct. 13-17 is recognized as International Credit Union Week, and each of the credit unions will mark the occasion with celebrations of their own.
“International Credit Union Day celebrates the spirit of the global credit union movement,” said Terri Kaniho of Gather Federal Credit Union. “The day is recognized to reflect upon the credit union movement’s history, promote its achievements, and share member experiences and to promote awareness of, and support of, the credit union difference.”
