(WYTV) - How are your children doing in school so far? OK? Or are they dealing with some disappointment?
A new survey from the Kids Mental Health Foundation asked adults how their children react to setbacks or disappointments.
They might be trying to adjust to a new school -- maybe the sports team didn't pick them.
"I think a lot of our children know how to take care of themselves physically," said mental health advocate Nina Day. "They hydrate and go to sleep and sometimes eat their broccoli, but they don't know how to help their mental wellness."
Day urges parents to talk to their kids about spending less time on social media and more time talking face-to-face.
