BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. (WSPA)— It's the 30th anniversary of a music and arts festival recovering after Hurricane Helene.

LEAF is a global arts festival celebrated with more than 6000 people at Lake Eden on the Black Mountain and Swannanoa border.

This year, they stress that funding for the arts is drying up and your support is needed to help the festival continue.

Expect live music, live art, and dance lessons; experience a summer camp for families. There's also paddleboarding and ziplining for families.

Funds raised from the festival go to the nonprofit supporting cultural arts and expanding the horizon of global arts in the area.

There will also be a guitar made, especially from wood collected after Hurricane Helene, auctioned off for more than $25,000.
