Two people are dead after a shooting Monday night in Vallejo, according to police.

At about 9:30 p.m. Monday, two people reportedly were shot at or near a home on Amelia Lane in Vallejo, police said. One victim was dead at the scene, and the other died later at the hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were unclear, and police did not announce any arrests or suspect identifications.

Video from the scene showed dozens of shell casings and a number of evidence markers.
