VOTING TABULATOR CASE: Preliminary exams began last week in Royal Oak for a high-profile case alleging illegal access to Michigan voting tabulators after the 2020 election. Prosecutors opened with testimony from Guy Riner of Election Systems & Software, who said five machines showed broken security seals and internal damage, according to Craig Mauger at the Detroit News. Riner told the court the tabulators were “tampered” and shouldn’t be returned to service.
