BUCKSNORT, Tenn. (WKRN) — Following Friday's deadly explosion at Accurate Energetic Systems in Bucksnort, some families are still waiting for answers.

Ernest Mays said the past few days have been agonizing, not knowing what happened to his daughter, Latisha Mays. According to Ernest, Latisha is one of the 16 people still unaccounted for after the blast at the explosives facility on the Hickman/Humphreys County line.

Latisha's relatives said they have received most of their updates from the news rather than directly from officials.

“We have high hopes that she's out there,” Latisha's twin sister, Lakisha Mays, said, adding that her family needs Latisha and won't give up until they find her.
