As the nor’easter makes its way through Connecticut, shoreline communities have been bracing for the effects.
“They don’t really care if it’s raining or not,” Janet Atterbury of Milford said.

It was a rainy dog walk for Atterbury while taking their route around Anchor Beach in Milford. She wanted to get them outside before the storm from the nor’easter grew intense.
“I wouldn’t want it to be too long-term,” she said.
The waves were driven by the breeze coming ashore with its power shown through Old Glory. The shoreline under a coastal flood watch.
Atterbury says she’s prepared after have going through intense storms in her decade plus time in the area.
