Provost Kenneth Duffy visited pupils at Morningside Primary School to learn more about their inspiring work to promote Fairtrade and support ethical trading in their community. ‌

During the visit, the Provost met with pupils and staff to hear how the school has been raising awareness of Fairtrade and encouraging others to make choices that support fairness, sustainability and respect for people and the planet. ‌

Headteacher Anne Marie McClymont said: “We’re very proud of our pupils and the enthusiasm they show for Fairtrade. They understand that small actions, like choosing Fairtrade products, can have a big impact on the lives of farmers and workers around the world. ‌
