Steven Gerrard was 'impressed' by Rangers' American owners - despite pulling out of the running to become the club's next manager. ‌

The former Gers boss held constructive talks with chairman Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe last week about a sensational return to Glasgow. ‌
