SRINAGAR : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday booked two vehicles and challaned six others, involved in unauthorised extraction and transportation of minerals from Rambiara Nallah in the Zainapora and Turkwangam areas of south Kashmir’s Shopian. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

A police official said that during routine patrolling on the Heff–Sugan axis, SHO Police Station Zainapora along with Incharge Police Post Turkwangam intercepted one Tipper (JK22A-8507) and one Tractor (JK22D-1146) operating without valid royalty documents. These vehicles were found to be repeat violators and accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 85/2025 has been registered at Police Station Zainapora under relevant provisions of law, and investigations was initiated.
