A fiery plane crash involving a single engine aircraft left part of Interstate 195 in Massachusetts shut down Monday morning as crews are currently engaged in an ongoing response. The aircraft crashed in a grassy median in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, State Police said. Responders have so far not released information regarding the aircraft’s occupants, although one local news agency reported two deaths.
State police said in a statement that the aircraft appeared to be trying to land at a nearby airport. Although officials have not yet confirmed details about the aircraft itself, it appears to be a Socata TBM-700.
