OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A woman is in jail and a man is injured after a cutting in North Omaha on Sunday.

According to a release from the Omaha Police Department, officers got to the scene at 30th and Pinkney streets just after 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police found a 40-year-old man and took him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the release states.

A 47-year-old woman was arrested on charges of second-degree domestic violence assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

The man will be “booked for several outstanding felony warrants when released from the hospital,” OPD says. OPD says domestic violence was a factor in the incident.
