UNION COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Union County Sheriff’s Office arrested two women for torturing and killing a dog.

Officials said they responded to a residence on Linersville Road in Buffalo around 10:14 p.m. on Friday regarding a report of a dog being set on fire.

According to arrest warrants, Cassidi Bailey Hyatt and Jada Dannielle Rogers poured gasoline on a dog and set it on fire, thereby killing it.

Both Hyatt and Rogers were charged with ill treatment of animals, torture. They were both booked into the Union County Detention Center and each granted a $10,000 bond.
