HOUSTON (KIAH) - The National Weather Service said Monday will have above-normal temperatures locally that will continue through the week as we remain mostly dry and warm.
An Air Quality Alert is in effect for Monday, October 13, as conditions are expected to produce high levels of ozone pollution across Houston, Galveston, and surrounding counties.
The air quality will be unhealthy for sensitive groups, and residents are advised to limit outdoor activities early in the morning and later in the day.
The NWS also encourages people to carpool or limit driving to help reduce emissions.
