A resident in Bridge of Allan has been desperately seeking assistance for more than a week after a massive tree collapsed during Storm Amy , destroying their Mercedes motor and leaving behind a dangerous damaged trunk. ‌

Scott Abercrombie's Mercedes was written-off when the enormous tree crashed down onto his home in Henderson Street on Friday, October 3. ‌

Mr Abercrombie says he submitted a report to Stirling Council , but has yet to receive any assistance in what he has branded a "dereliction of duty". ‌

He alleges that the council declined to step in, pointing to land ownership issues, despite the tree being situated within a council-designated Conservation Area.
