Carlos Alcaraz may not have played the Shanghai Masters, but the world No. 1 is still adding to his list of achievements.

Alcaraz made the right call in choosing to miss Shanghai after picking up a knock during his title run at the Japan Open.

The world No. 1 will be back on court at the Six Kings Slam, where he’ll line up alongside Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Taylor Fritz and Alexander Zverev.

And before heading to Saudi Arabia for that event, Alcaraz has already added another milestone by breaking an Andy Murray record.

Alcaraz moved past Jannik Sinner in the rankings after beating him in four sets at the US Open final. Across his two stints at the top, Alcaraz has now spent a total of 42 weeks as World No. 1.
