ELMORE COUNTY — A Nampa woman was killed and a juvenile passenger was injured in a single-vehicle crash late Saturday night on Interstate 84, according to Idaho State Police.

The crash occurred around 10:50 p.m. near milepost 80. Investigators said the 46-year-old woman was driving a 2000 Toyota Tacoma westbound when the truck left the roadway, overturned, and came to rest in the eastbound lanes.

The driver died at the scene. The juvenile passenger was airlifted to a nearby hospital.

ISP said both occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. All lanes of the highway were blocked for about an hour while emergency crews responded.

The crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
