BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Brevard County commissioners on Tuesday will consider declaring Oct. 14 as Charlie Kirk Remembrance Day .

The commissioners will discuss a resolution that aims to honor Kirk, a conservative activist and and close ally of President Donald Trump who played an influential role in rallying young Republican voters after he was assassinated last month while speaking with students at Utah Valley University.

This is the latest move in Central Florida to honor and remember Kirk.
