TECUMSEH, Okla. (KFOR) - Tecumseh Schools are closed Monday and Tuesday following threats made against students, officials say.

Tecumseh Public Schools said in a Facebook post that they were notified by authorities over the weekend of the threats. The post had “threatening language” and images of weapons taken inside a school bathroom.

“The suspect had made a threat to shoot up a school where there would be a big event coming soon,” said Captain Jared Strand, with the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office. “He admitted that he had plans. He was charged with terroristic threats, threatening to perform an act of violence, the violation of the Computer Crimes Act, and making or possessing obscene materials.”
