PSEG Long Island Storm Update — Monday, Oct. 13, 11:15 AM

PSEG Long Island has restored power to more than 84% of customers affected by the heavy rain and significant winds that downed trees, branches and wires, causing scattered power outages throughout the service area.

As of 10:45 AM, PSEG Long Island has restored power to more than 19,500 customers affected by the storm since 7 AM Sunday.

Currently, 3,978 of 1.2 million electric customers across Long Island and the Rockaways are without power.

All PSEG Long Island employees have mobilized to support the restoration efforts, including more than 900 line workers, tree trimmers, surveyors and other field personnel.

In addition, approximately 580 off-Island personnel are on site to address outages.
