MAPLE PLAIN, Minn. — A school bus driver was ticketed after crashing with another vehicle in the west metro Monday morning.

The incident happened around 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 90 and Pagenkopf Road in Maple Plain. A West Hennepin Public Safety sergeant told KARE 11 that the bus had 13 students aboard when the driver t-boned a van at the intersection.

Those students were on their way to class in Orono Independent School District 278.

All students and the drivers of both vehicles were evaluated on the crash scene and determined to be OK. The sergeant says the school bus driver was cited for failing to yield.
