A Sioux Falls man was sentenced to life in prison on three counts of first-degree murder, more than a year after he shot and killed three people while attending a bonfire.
Justin Rackley will serve three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole for the murders of Daniel Kemnitz, Kellie Reaves and Michael Thompson, all of whom were killed on June 8, 2024 .
Rackley was sentenced on Oct. 10. A jury found him guilty earlier this year of three counts of murder, as well as two counts of aggravated assault.
