EXCLUSIVE: Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Carlos López Estrada has signed with CAA .

This comes following the conclusion of production on his latest feature, Ded , a silent film he directed from a script written with Anna Moskowitz, where he stars alongside Camila Mendes and Eugenio Derbez.

Estrada is best known as one of the directors of Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon , which was nominated for the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. During his time at Disney, from 2019-22, he was also part of the Story Trust for Frozen 2 , Encanto , Strange World , and Wish , the latter of which he originated the story for.
