More than a dozen people were left with minor injuries after two MTA buses collided Monday morning in Flushing, Queens, authorities said.
The crash happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Sandford Avenue and Bowne Street, where police said one bus was rear-ended by another that was heading westbound on the avenue.
Photos from the scene showed a Q27 bus with damage to its front and right side.
The NYPD said 16 passengers and one bus driver were taken to nearby hospitals with minor injuries.
Officials said no pedestrians were involved, and there was no indication that a medical emergency caused the crash.
No arrests were made, and an investigation remains ongoing.
