OKLAHOMA CITY — After receiving nearly 400 creative submissions and more than 2,100 votes statewide, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation has announced the winners of its 2025 Snowplow Naming Contest .
Students from across Oklahoma put their imaginations to work, producing names ranging from “Clearopathra” to “Snowbi Won Kenobi” for 24 snowplows that will hit the roads this winter. The names will appear on ODOT ‘s online snowplow tracker, launching Oct. 27 at OKSnowPlows.org , where residents can follow plow activity during winter weather.
