MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police are searching for the suspects accused of slashing a man and pushing another onto the subway tracks inside a train station in Manhattan over the weekend.
The attacks happened just after 11 p.m. on Saturday on the southbound F train platform at the 57th Street subway station in Midtown.
According to the NYPD, the suspects were putting on hoodies over their heads as they walked down the stairs into the station. One of the suspects pulled a mask over his face, police say.
The victims, two men ages 37 and 39, believed they were about to be mugged and began recording the suspects with the phones. That sparked a confrontation that escalated into a fight.
