HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 16-year-old boy was arrested after the Hanford Police Department said they responded to a call of a man who had just brandished a firearm at another man.

Police say around 5:30 p.m., on Oct. 7, officers responded to the 800 block of N. Harris Street.

The suspect's description was broadcast to responding officers, saying they found a person matching the description in the area of Florinda and Redington streets.

According to police, an airsoft replica handgun was located on the suspect, a 16-year-old boy from Hanford.

Officers say the 16-year-old suspect was positively identified and arrested on a charge of criminal threats made when he brandished the replica handgun at the victims.
