It was a big night at Pulaski County on Friday, as not only were the Maroons looking to bounce back after two straight losses to state-ranked opponents, they were welcoming back longtime head coach Johnny Hines and his undefeated South Laurel Cardinals. It was also senior night for the Maroons, with Pulaski celebrating seniors Zak Anderson, Levi Beshears, Kolten Cain, Kaden Carrier, Bryan Ford, Brody Johnson, Jett McKeown, Bryson Mounce, Dekker Wheeldon and Toby Wright before the game.
Despite a slow start, the Maroons would make a huge statement in their opening game of district play with a 42-7 victory.
