The Pulaski County boys' golf team competed in the final round of the KHSAA State Tournament last week, with the team finishing in eighth place overall with a combined score of 677 or 101-over-par. St. Xavier ended up winning the championship with a score of 578 or two-over-par, with Madison Central placing second with a score of 585 or nine-over-par.
Luke Ousley ended up with the best individual score for the Maroons with a 160, or 16-over-par, to finish in a tie for 45th place. Other finishers for Pulaski included Blake Fraley in a tie for 56th, Ben Hampton in 73rd, Brett Worley in a tie for 85th and Ty Brown in 89th.
