Lowe's said it investigated a viral social media post about the mistreatment of a customer who is colorblind and found "no evidence" that employees responded inappropriately.

Jackie Carbasho posted to social media saying that her dad, Frank Carbasho, wanted to buy her a pink toolkit for her birthday. But she says when he went home, he learned he had bought a blue toolkit instead — something he didn't realize because he's colorblind.

"I told him I wanted this pink Kobalt tool set, because girls have pink," Jackie Carbasho said.

She said her dad drove an hour from West Virginia
