Here’s a chance to vote for the Upstate Ingles high school girls athlete of the week for Oct. 6-12. Multiple votes are allowed, and the poll will be open until noon on Oct. 16.

This week’s finalists:

Bella Strawn, Byrnes: Strawn won the 100 free (52.32) and was second in the 50 free (24.41) in the SCHSL swimming championships.

Claire Burns, J.L. Mann: Burns won the 200 IM (2:03.55) and was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.42) in the SCHSL swimming championships.

Abby Schneider, Wade Hampton: Schneider won the 200 free (1:53.61) and the 500 free (4:58.00), as well as taking second in the 100 backstroke (58.95) in the SCHSL swimming championships.

Ansley Brinkman, Riverside: Brinkman won the 50 free (23.84) and the 100 free (52.45) in the SCHSL swimming championships.
