SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Mammoth is expected to be without the services of defenseman Sean Durzi for four weeks after he suffered an upper-body injury in a win over Nashville.
The club announced the news on Monday, October 13.
Durzi appeared to suffer the injury in overtime after absorbing a hit and falling on his right shoulder. He was seen on the bench in obvious pain following the play.
He was limited to 30 games last season, scoring four goals and adding seven assists.
About Sean Durzi
The 26-year-old was born in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, in October 1998. In 2023, the Arizona Coyotes acquired Durzi from the Los Angeles Kings via trade. On June 30, 2024, he signed a four-year deal with the Utah Hockey Club, keeping him with the franchise through the 2027-28 season.
