BOSTON —

A man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was shot several times in Boston, police said.

Officers arrived at 1855 Washington St. in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood just after 1 p.m. Monday for a call of someone shot.

When police arrived, they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.

Washington Street between Northampton and Lenox streets will be closed while police investigate.
