(WETM) — Today’s Pet of the Week is a shy but sweet girl from the Animal Care Sanctuary.

Blue is a seven-year-old dilute calico who takes a minute to warm up but is looking for someone to spend her days with. The sweet girl came to the sanctuary as a stray over a year and a half ago.

Blue is very food-motivated and is always down for a snack and/or meal. When she came into the sanctuary, the timid girl was overweight, but the sanctuary explained that it has been working on Blue's weight loss journey with a diet.

Blue would work best in a quiet home and would be just fine being the only pet in the home, but she does get along well with other cats once adjusted.
