Sam Asghari has a special message for his ex-wife, Britney Spears, and the “great compliment” she recently shared on social media regarding their short marriage.

“Distraction is always a great compliment. And that’s what this next campaign, the MISTR Campaign, is — a huge, big distraction,” Asghari, 31, exclusively told Us Weekly of Spears’, 43, comments while attending the Blue Carpet Countdown for the First National prEP Day by MISTR on Thursday, October 9.

“And sometimes, you know, we can turn distractions into great things,” he added. “So that’s a good thing for me.”
