UNION COUNTY, S.C. - Two women have been arrested for allegedly torturing and killing a dog, according to the Union County Sheriffs Office.

Deputies say they responded to a home on Linersville Road in Buffalo around 10:14 p.m. on Friday regarding a report of a dog being set on fire.

According to arrest warrants, Cassidi Bailey Hyatt and Jada Dannielle Rogers poured gasoline on a dog and set it on fire, thereby killing it.

Both Hyatt and Rogers were charged with ill treatment of animals, torture.

They were both booked into the Union County Detention Center and each granted a $10,000 bon
