Point-to-Point, the annual steeplechase and tailgating extravaganza held each May at Winterthur , will not take place in 2026.
Instead, Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library is planning to mark its 75th anniversary as well as the 250th anniversary of U.S independence. 2026 will also serve as a transition period to reimagine Winterthur's signature event for 2027 and beyond, with a "focus on mission vision and community engagement."
A special 75th anniversary celebration to commemorate the 1951 opening of the museum is being planned for the spring of next year.
