The Phoenix airport had 255 flights listed as experiencing delays as of noon on Monday, according to Sky Harbor's website. Some flights had been pushed back by about 30 minutes, while others were pushed back by more than an hour.
The FAA said flights at Sky Harbor were experiencing an average delay of about 50 minutes due to "low ceilings," or cloud coverage. The delays are affecting several airlines operating out of the airport.
