WASHINGTON — Friends and family of actress Diane Keaton are sharing new details of her last days, as fans around the world of the 79-year-old Oscar-winning star.

Keaton died on Oct. 11, but few details about her death were released at the time. As of Monday, no cause of death has been given.

But one of her longtime friends, Carole Bayer Sager, and had lost a lot of weight since her home was damaged in the Los Angeles wildfires earlier in the year.

“She had to go to Palm Springs because her house had been damaged inside, and they had to clean everything,” Sager told the outlet. “She was down there for a while, and when she came back, I was kind of stunned by how much weight she’d lost.”
