Ben Rice has been about the most popular Yankee in trade talks. Teams have been asking about him regularly but the Yankees are understandably extremely reluctant to deal him.

Almost impossible to see Aaron Boone not coming back despite not winning the big prize in eight years.

There were always issues regarding a potential change. 1) Aaron Boone is beloved by Aaron Judge and most players, 2) He’s a great voice and face of the team, and 3) Who’s better who’s available?

With one big Mets goal to improve defense, would they consider trading outstanding hitting left fielder Brandon Nimmo? That would make a lot of folks around the team very sad. Nimmo is the most popular Met throughout the organization.
