INDIANAPOLIS — A pair of freak pregame accidents before Sunday’s win over the Arizona Cardinals could cost Colts ' backup quarterback Anthony Richardson and cornerback Charvarius Ward some time.

Richardson suffered an orbital bone fracture as the result of a freak accident with a resistance band during his pregame routine, and Ward suffered a concussion when he collided with Drew Ogletree during pregame work.

The pair of pregame injuries left the Colts locker room a little shaken before the game; Indianapolis had to take a couple of minutes in the locker room to pray as a team.

“I don’t have anything on AR and Mooney, just hoping for those guys, a speedy recovery for both of them,” Indianapolis head coach Shane Steichen said Monday.
