CHICAGO (WLS) -- The man who died in a crash that shut down southbound Interstate 57 on Chicago's South Side for hours on Sunday morning has been identified.
Illinois State Police said troopers responded to I-57 southbound near 111th Street, in the city's Morgan Park neighborhood, just after 4:40 a.m.

The crash involved a car and a pedestrian, ISP said. Video captured emergency crews on the scene.
The medical examiner identified the man killed as 42-year-old Antonio J. Antunez Espinoza.
All southbound lanes were closed and traffic was diverted at 111th Street until lanes reopened around 11 a.m.
Authorities are investigating and did not immediately provide further information about the crash.
