MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Alex Antetokounmpo is joining his older brothers Giannis and Thanasis as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, according to a report from ESPN .
This is the first time in NBA history that three brothers are on active roster contracts with the same team, according to ESPN reporter Shams Charania.
Alex Antetokounmpo is signing a two-way deal, which will allow him to play with the Bucks and the team's G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd.
For the 2025-26 season, each NBA team is permitted to have three players on two-way contracts. According to the G League's website, the Bucks have guard Jamaree Bouyea, forward Pete Nance and guard Mark Sears on two-way deals. According to Charania, the Bucks are waiving Bouyea to make room for the third Antetokounmpo brother.
