GRAND FORKS — The University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences is hitting the road to travel across the state in an effort to attract more prospective students, according to a press release.
It is part of the “North Dakota 85” goal the school has, to make 85% of its enrolled medical students and physician assistant students North Dakota-affiliated.
“Our school’s mission is to serve North Dakota for the benefit of its people and to enhance the quality of their lives,” said Marjorie Jenkins, dean of the school and Vice President for Health Affairs, in the release. “We intend to do just that by reaching out to schools and programs across the state and working even harder to recruit students to UND and help prepare them for health care careers.”
