IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Two adults have been charged with felony abuse after investigations found three children tested positive for cocaine exposure in their home, Iredell County deputies said.

The investigation began Thursday, Sept. 25, when the Iredell County Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit received a report of possible child abuse involving three children ranging in age from 1 to 9 years old.

A detective assigned to the case worked with the Iredell County Department of Social Services.

Based on the nature of the allegations, DSS conducted drug testing on the children and their parents, Kyle Robert Crill and Lora Lee Estes. Toxicology results from two separate tests showed that both Crill and Estes tested positive for cocaine and marijuana. All three children also tested positiv
